Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently associated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street' as well as Closing Bell'. She's an Ohio native, and wasn't keen on markets or currencies while in college. She worked at ForexTV.com while she was in school at New York University. It is there that she garnered her first experience working in business news. She went on to earn an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The work experience was for 4 months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. After that, she returned to the United States and began working at Bloomberg's New York office. She became a TV anchor eventually. CNBC has hired her as a reporter in December 2013. Before landing the job at 'Closing Bell as a correspondent, she worked as co-anchor on 'Worldwide exchange' and the 'Power Lunch'. Eisen has been the co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. She is among the most revered business journalists today. Since her arrival at CNBC her main concern has been global consumer news.
