Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) is the child of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). She is Italian via her father's grandfather, Irish by the mother she had, German, English, Scottish as well as German. Linda grew up in her native San Francisco Bay area, California and was the eldest of four children. At age 10 her interest in the acting world when she performed in a Christmas school play. Her school involvement continued with productions and community theater. Linda has graduated from Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. After graduation she had to make a choice in between New York, where she could study theater as a career, or Los Angeles, where film and television were her options. Linda chose LA. Linda was cast in her first part in the show Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her most memorable role. Lily James is a stage name for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress who was born on the 5th of April, 1989. She was trained at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her debut in the British television series Just William (2010). After her success in the role of Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey between 2012 and 2015 Her first big break was on the film of the same name, Cinderella in 2015. James then played the Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV version of War & Peace in 2016. James has appeared in many films including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018, and The Dig 2021, as and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 was recognized with Golden Globes as well as the Primetime Emmy Awards.
