Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country pop music and songwriting rose to prominence on TV when she became Alex in the last three seasons of One Tree Hill. The show featured her in a number of episodes as a new country singer, which helped her album to reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed into the Top Ten. Her decade was rounded out with appearances for Dancing with the Stars. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices was released. Growing up in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music. She would later pursue a recording career but she started her career as an actor making her onscreen debut in the indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teen years. Guest spots in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the part in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season, 2007-2008. Kramer was cast in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she stayed until partway through the series' final season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her tenure on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't Give Up in a one of the 2011 One Tree Hill episode. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was released on her debut entire album Jana Kramer. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. Focusing on her music career thereafter without retiring from acting she was a part of films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and the Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach number 3 on the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. In September of 2016, her appearance on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th-place finishing. That same year, the song"Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser, was a big adult contemporary hit.
